The way a psychic convince that they are legitimate

Each person has their own "burden of proof". Sometimes a psychic can be accurate but YOU don't believe them because they haven't given you what it would take to PROVE they are real. The best psychics don't care to be honest. We know who we are, we know what we know...and can see...and don't know and can't see. The best ones are honest. I often say, "I can't quite see the face or name or time...or...." However, I believe psychics are quickly being replaced with cutting edge technology that will answer most of our questions in a more definitive way.
I'm a very specific intuitive. I give names, descriptions and dates. When they come to pass, it creates a great track record. Humans have free will so sometimes the future will chance. I don't use this as an excuse as others do, however.
Another idea said that, If a psychic is trying to convince you of anything, then they're acting on a second agenda that they should not have. It's not for psychics to convince you of anything, nor should it be. How can you tell if they are legitimate? There are a lot of little indicators that can help point you in the right direction. A few examples are:
  • They do not try to convince you of their legitimacy, accuracy, or value to you
  • They behave in ways that are essentially honest and ethical
  • Do not coerce you into future appointments, or buying products from them
  • Do not seek to create an environment where you are unhealthily dependent on them
  • Do not tell you that you have a bunch of demons or other nasties around you, at least not without a whole lot of explanation and support around it
  • Do not give you lottery numbers or similar forecasts of winning/guarantees
About 99.9% of psychics are legitimate.  That's why frauds make the news.  We don't hear about car dealerships and mechanics cheating people because it's too common.  You have an excellent chance of encountering a legitimate psychic on the first try.
So your question should be either "Is this psychic any good?" or "Is this the right psychic for me?"
Psychic consulting is an unregulated business with no barrier to entry.  It costs nothing to say you are a psychic and simply start accepting clients, so obviously a little homework is a good thing here.
Longevity in the business is a good indicator of ability, just like any self employed person.  A psychic who has been working in their field for five years or more full time is highly likely to be good enough.  It's an indication of a strong client base, sufficient referrals and lots of practice, which you can only get by being good at your job.
When you've done your homework and found a reputable psychic, it's a waste of time and energy to mistrust them.  You'll be spending your money trying to verify instead of getting the information you want.  And it brings a bad vibe to the business relationship.  This doesn't just apply to psychics, but to everyone you hire.  No one can do their best work for people who mistrust them.
